It all started with a typical Saturday Guys' Night Out.  Moscow Mules in hand the conversation naturally shifted between girls and sports before settling on business.  What could we do for fun that would also provide value to our community at the same time?  We realized that there is so much going on each week in Midtown that we often hear about things too late.  Especially with the addition of the Golden 1 Center, there are new places breaking ground everywhere.

Earlier that day before hitting the town with my friends I had started a fitness website because I wanted an online presence. After talking about sharing our experiences in Sacramento, I noticed that “Guys on the Grid” was available across every social media platform. I quickly scrapped the fitness website idea.

The initial goal was to simply spread the word about local events around Sacramento. When I began to take Instagram seriously, I realized that I had a love for creating content as well. Now, I not only continue to spread the word about events, places, and new spots in Sac, I also love to create visual content while using Sacramento as a backdrop. My goal is to document the life of myself and my friends while further putting Sacramento on the map. Follow my daily posts and stories across all social media platforms @GuysontheGrid. And if I’m not on my own grid in Sac, I’ll equally be documenting my experiences on whatever grid I may find myself at. See you soon!
